The rules for the reciprocal exchange of information and reporting on ambient air quality for Directives 2004/107/EC and 2008/50/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council are set out in the COMMISSION IMPLEMENTING DECISION 2011/850/EU and Commission's guidance documents IPR guidance part I and IPR guidance part II. Information related to the implementation of this Decision including the data repository is provided through this portal.

By the end of September 2014, countries must report information for 2013 calendar year under Decision 2011/850/EC on:

Air quality IPR
  • Zones & Agglomeration (B) - Article 6,
  • Assessment Regimes (C) - Article 7,
  • Assessment Methods metadata (D) - Article 8 & 9.
  • Primary validated assessment data - measurements (Article 10) (E1a) - Article 10.
  • Primary validated assessment data -modelled (E1b) - Article 10.
  • Generated aggregated data from primary validated measurements (F) - Generated by EEA.
  • Attainment of environmental objectives (G) - Article 12.

Throughout 2014, countries must report information on up-to-date primary data:
