EIONET NRC land workshop on GMES land monitoring core service implementation and attached EAGLE WS

A workshop is planned for 20 to 22 October 2010 to discuss EEA/Eionet implementation strategy for the GMES land monitoring core service under GMES initial operations from 2011 – 2013. The meeting will follow up from workshops earlier this year, including OODM meeting in Lisbon. The outcome of the meeting will be to provide greater clarity on plans for the implementation of the GMES land service as well as identification of approaches to resolve outstanding issues. A detailed agenda and background documents, including a draft implementation plan for LMCS will be circulated mid August. We would like to encourage you to pre-register for the workshop, which will allow us to gauge the level of support needed to potentially fund participation.
