EIONET Awards
Released on 2001-10-16EIONET Award can be presented to a person or a team that has advanced EIONET role in the information society. See the rules. Two Awards were presented on 9 October during the CDS e-EIONET Work Conference 2001.
A Special EIONET Award of 2001 was presented to Tom Klingl of BUWAL for his efforts in organising the CDS e-EIONET Work Conference in Thun 6-9 October 2001 and as recognition of the Swiss CDS achievement.
The EIONET Award of 2000 was presented to Bjarne Norup of the Danish NFP for his sustained effort in advancing EIONET working practices.
