Background

The systematic implementation of data repositories for EIONET priority data started on Friday, 21 June 2002 when a voting paper for the repository choice was sent to National Focal Points.

The basic requirement is that every country and every regular data flow should use and clearly identify one of these repository options. It is not an option only to rely on email or similar. The deadline for replies was: Friday, 19 July 2002.
