Participation to training sessions is free for EIONET users.
The courses are normally held either at EEA in Copenhagen or at NMC in Brussels. Directions:
Travel and accomodations costs, including luncheons have to be borne by the participants.
Comprehensive course notebooks in English are provided to participants.
The training materials are © European Environment Agency. The training materials can be used free of charge, provided that the source information is retained.
The number of participants for a particular session is limited to allow the necessary interactivity and computer furnishings.
Whenever possible, classrooms accommodate one PC for two trainees. If trainees have a personal laptop, they can bring it along but they should inform us beforehand so that we can provide the necessary connections and tell the participants which bookmarks/favorites to put in their internet browser for the training session.
Whenever possible, several training modules will be combined in one training session, thus saving on travel costs and increasing the overall efficiency. We also strongly recommend combining EIONET technical training with other EIONET-related events and meetings. Ad-hoc training at your premises can be arranged upon request.
