The EUNIS habitats classification has always included links ('crosswalks') to other classifications, both European and national. This document discusses the problems in producing and using such crosswalks before examining the relationship between the EUNIS habitats classification and those used for the Marine Strategy Framework Directive (MSFD), the EUSeaMap project and the marine habitats listed on Annex I of the Habitats Directive. The report was produced as a contribution to the MAES marine pilot.
