D.5.1.10.2 requires the “Sampling interval” as the time between the start of two consecutive samples. In case of sampling with continuous time coverage, the sampling interval is identical with the sampling time.
The sampling interval may vary slightly in case of discontinuous or of passive sampling. Here, an average or common sampling interval is to be given.
