Short topic assessment: Integrated approaches for wetland conservation and management - ETC/BD Technical paper N°12/2015

This short topic assessment provides an overview of the current state and trends of wetlands and their biodiversity, identifies some barriers to their adequate and efficient management and conservation and explores some of the integrated policy and governance responses at EU to local levels that have been developed to address their continuing decline throughout the EU.
