Time span of the Eionet passwords

Dear Eionet and Reportnet users,

The EEA Information Security Office has decided to limit the time span of the validity of the Eionet passwords. This measure will increase the security and data protection of the Eionet.

Everyone, who has not updated his/her password in the last two years will experience that the password has been expired and must be updated to be able to continue to log in. From then on, Eionet users will have to update their passwords in every two years.

You can reset your password via the password reset service (URL: https://www.eionet.europa.eu/password-reset) by using the e-mail address attached to your Eionet account. The new password must be at least eight characters and you can't use your previous password. To be able to use password reset, your e-mail address in the Eionet directory must be current.
